
We kindly ask donors who donate retirement distribution checks to the church to request that their financial institution clearly indicate on the check stub whether the donation is an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) or another type of non-tax-deductible distribution.
Because financial institutions label these checks differently, the church office may not always be able to identify the type.
If this information cannot be included on the check, please contact the church office in advance, so we can record your donation accurately. Thank you.
Beginning in 2026, donations made through Charitable Grant Funds, Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), Non-Tax-Deductible Retirement Distribution checks, or other non-tax-deductible means will receive an automatic email acknowledgment when recorded in our system. The church will not issue a separate year-end statement for these types of donations.
