The church office will be closed on Dec. 24–25 and Dec. 31–Jan. 1.

All 2018 ministry-related expenses must be submitted for reimbursements on or before Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, for the purpose of preparing timely year-end financial reports for Council.

The 2019 Bible calendar, provided by CBCSD, is ready for pick-up in the back of Suite 18 after LG worship. Each household may receive one free calendar.

On Sunday, Dec. 23, we will have a special Christmas program, along with an additional congregational lunch. Each small group is encouraged to give a short presentation (e.g., music, skit, poetry reading, etc.).

Help support the various ministries at CBCSD. All church offering made on or before Dec. 31 will be considered as 2018 offering. Please contact the church office for matters regarding stock donations or 2018 offering receipts.

We need volunteers to drive the church vans/minivans to pick up seniors from downtown and drive them to Main Campus every Sunday morning. We’re also looking for minivan donations.

There will be a Mexico short-term missions trip to San Telmo and Ensenada on the weekend before Christmas, Dec. 21-23.

This year, our children will be putting on the musical, “Miracle on Main Street — The Little Pageant That Doesn’t Give Up.” The two performances will be on Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7:30pm in the Main Sanctuary.

The church needs drivers to help pick up the 2019 Bible Verses wall calendars from the El Monte area up in Los Angeles.

The Family Welcome Center is having Christmas events on Sunday, Dec. 16, and Tuesday, Dec. 18. Co-workers to serve at these events, along with financial support, are needed.
