There will be a one-day short-term service opportunity to Tijuana, Mexico, on Saturday, Oct. 6. Anyone interested in joining must attend the two orientation and preparation meetings on Sep. 15 and 22.

The theme of CBCSD’s 2018 Missions Weekend on Sep. 7-9 is “Winning Muslims for Christ.” The speaker is Pastor Joseph Wong.

This is a friendly reminder that the kick-off party for the Children’s Christmas Musical “Miracle on Main Street” will be on Friday, Sep. 7, 7:30pm-9:30pm, in Suite 18. Looking forward to seeing the musical kids there!

The LG Summer Retreat will be held at church on July 13–15. Early-bird registration (only $15 for adults and children) has been extended to July 8.

AWANA will start on Friday, Sep. 14, 7:30pm-9:30pm. Registration has already begun, and we are also looking for volunteers to serve in AWANA.

Is there really life after high school? Come and get the answers FIRSTHAND! Get PREPARED! A number of guest panelists will come and share their own experiences as well!

We need volunteers to prepare the coffee fellowship for the following Sundays:  6/24, and 7/1. Please contact Raymond if you’re interested in helping.

The El Cajon Cultural Exchange summer camp for the refugee youth will be held on July 16–20. We need many more volunteers to help with the various needs for this ministry.

We invite brothers and sisters to prayerfully consider joining us in serving the families in Tijuana, specifically the area where many Chinese immigrants reside. We are looking to set up English classes.
