Friends and Family Community Connection (FFCC)
Due to the stay-at-home order, many low-income families are unable to work during the pandemic. FFCC provides groceries to students, families, and the elderly in the Poway Unified School District (PUSD) area, but FFCC’s cupboards are very low. Normally, all of the schools would be having food drives right now to help out, but schools are also closed. So FFCC has set up local drop-off locations, including one near church (please check the LG bulletin for more details). When you are out for your daily walk, please put one or more of the requested items listed below into the bin on the porch. The bin is available anytime through the end of the stay-at-home order. Donate as often as you are able. FFCC will make sure it gets to a family or senior who needs it. Please participate and spread the word. Thank you!
