COVID-19 Crisis in India

A special announcement from the Senior Pastor, Rev. Albert Lam:

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I believe we’ve all learned from the news regarding the recent severe outbreak of COVID-19 in India. The daily number of confirmed cases is between 30,000 to 40,000, and the death toll is also in the thousands. The people of India desperately need outside help to pull them through this devastating crisis. They are greatly in need of hospital beds, medical supplies, ventilators, and temporary hospital facilities. More than a hundred World Vision co-workers in India have already contracted the disease, and last week, several of them died in the line of duty. CBCSD has donated $5,000 to India through World Vision to help provide aid for this urgent need. At the same time, we call on brothers and sisters to join in to support this “Love Without Borders Charity Action.” To donate, please send your personal checks to the World Vision office (or other charities of your choice), or go to the World Vision website (worldvision.org) and donate by credit card. Thank you for your love.

“And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written:  ‘HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER.’ Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us in producing thanksgiving to God.”
