Going Beyond Missions

Praise the Lord! Over the past two years, approximately 45 brothers and sisters from CBCSD have completed the first phase of the Going Beyond Missions (GBM) training. This year, 19 people have registered for the online mission training in October. We anticipate that at least 15 brothers and sisters from CBCSD will participate in four short-term mission teams from early December through the end of March 2027. These teams will serve among unreached peoples in India, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bhutan, Nigeria, and other countries, sharing the Gospel and helping to establish churches.

This is a significant spiritual battle and a tangible way for CBCSD to actively participate in global missions and fulfill the Great Commission. We sincerely ask every brother and sister to pray for and support these ministries.

Since the GBM short-term mission trips will take place across multiple years as a series of mission teams, the Missions Department has decided to establish the “GBM STM” Fund. The fundraising goal is $50,000, and the fund will be designated exclusively to support CBCSD brothers and sisters participating in Going Beyond online mission training and short-term mission trips.
