The VBS theme for this year is titled “Shipwrecked—Rescued by Jesus,” and it will be held June 25–29. We are looking for about ten more co-workers to join the VBS team.

This is a friendly reminder for anyone who uses the Nursery room (Room 113) at the Main Campus to keep it tidy after use. Parents, please make sure that your children do not climb on the crib beds or play in them.

The LG Bible Quiz will be this Sunday, Apr. 15. It will cover the book of 2 Corinthians. There will be a congregational lunch after worship service.

There will be a joint Good Friday service in English for adults and youth on Friday, Mar. 30, 7:00pm, in Suite 18. If you feel led to serve in the children’s service, please contact Pastor Eva.

The Family Welcome Center will be hosting a family retreat for the local refugees on Apr. 3–5, at Pine Valley Center. Volunteers, prayer, and financial support are needed.

There will be a Men’s Group retreat at Big Bear on Mar. 23–25. Please contact Man Wong if you have any questions.

The church office is now recruiting for an Administrative Assistant (part-time or full-time, 20-40 hours a week), who will handle all matters of the church office. The application deadline is Sunday, Apr. 8.

Yale University’s premier Christian a cappella group, Living Water, will hold a free concert at CBCSD on Friday, Mar. 16, 7:30pm-9:00pm, in the Main Sanctuary. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, Mar. 11. So on Saturday night, please remember to adjust your clocks forward by one hour (e.g., from 2:00am to 3:00am).
